Says "The SUP board is very beautiful to look at and is true eye candy. I get
the sense that I am back in time as I look forward over the board as I
paddle and see wood as folks did 70 years ago! It is very stable, even
reaching across 2 ft chop or heading upwind in a good blow. the rail
outlines and contours allow paddling to be done continuously on one
side without a "J" stroke to keep it straight. All you have to do is put
a wee bit of pressure on the paddling side rail and she stays straight!
She paddles well too at speed with if you switch sides quickly, one
paddle normal stroke on one side with a switch to the other side and ,
not switching grip on paddle, do and inside paddle and back ect......
just like a single bladed kneeling kayaker. Not as
heavy as you would think and much lighter then those old redwood
planks. The drain holes in the back are great too, allowing any water
that makes its way in to get out . Just wonderful and a really stable and
elegant board.Know too that f you do not have the heart to cover up the
beautiful deck with grip stuff, it waxes just like any other "normal" long board.
