Summary how a Hollow Core Wood Stand-Up Paddle Board or Surf Board are made:
1) Pieces for the Wood SUP or Wood Long Board are cut. The size of the boat will determine the different cuts for the frame.
2) The bottom and top of the board are spliced together and inlay top is created like the picture with my kids and surfboard in it.
3) The rocker for the Wood Stand-Up Paddle Board is adjusted on the table and the frame plus the fin box is created and glued to the bottom.
4) The rails are put onto the frame
5) The inside is coated with an epoxy mix and the inside of the Wood Stand Up Paddle Board or Long Board is reinforced.
6) The top is fitted and the rails are shaped.
7) The Wood Stand Up Paddle Board is then fiber glassed and 5 coats of varnish are baked on.
